We believe that, whatever happens in life, no one should be held back from reaching their potential.

The Human Safety Net (THSN) is a Generali Group’s global flagship initiative aimed at unlocking the potential of people living in vulnerable circumstances. We strive to transform the lives of families and communities in need, especially those with children aged 0 – 6, and refugees. The THSN For Families programme also supports parents by investing in parenting courses such as Early Childhood Development, family centres, and home visits. It now works with 64 partners in 24 countries and has so far positively impacted the lives of more than 200,000 people.

The Human Safety Net’s programmes contribute directly to five United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

Early childhood indicators (SDGs 3 and 4).
Create jobs and sustainable communities (SDGs 8 and 11).
All programmes are based on the principle that they can only achieve a significant impact when working in partnership across countries and stakeholder groups (SDG 17).

Being an open net, we welcome companies, organizations and foundations who share the same goals. We are currently working with local NGO, Yayasan Generasi Gemilang in extending support to vulnerable families in the community to become financially and emotionally resilient.
